First spotted during Paris Fashion Week 2019 and part of the Spring 19 lineup, the Sacai x Nike LDWaffle will have everyone seeing double. Inspired by hybridization, the shoe combines the Waffle Daybreak and the LDV, two classic Nikes from the running archive. With two shoes coming together, everything gets doubled. The upper sports a green and yellow mesh, leather and suede combination, with a double Swoosh, double heel counter, double eyestay, double tongue and double laces. An exaggerated sculpted midsole adds another dimension to the shoe, sitting atop the classic Nike waffle outsole. Nike and Sacai branding can be found on the back heel tab as well as the sockliner.

Sacai x LDWaffle blends the experimental nature of the Japanese brand with the traditional ingenuity of Nike. Debuting in September 2019, this "Pine Green" edition updates the hybrid model with a vibrant color story. Its mesh upper sees layered suede eyelets, double reinforcements and two-tone Swooshes. a double-layered tongue, optional double laces and stacked heel logo further contribute to this aesthetic. Its double-stacked, sculpted midsole follows the same formula on the rubber waffle tread.
